
Before tackling the review of Rift, there are a few things that need to be pointed out. First, any MMORPG “review” before level cap and endgame experience is simply disingenuous. Second, before going any further let's get this out of the way – Rift is not a World of Warcraft clone.

Players can progress through 30 levels of challenges by completing daily and weekly quests, thus earning Battle Pass experience points and rewards. The Battle Pass can be played for free and will reward players with various consumables and a set of artifacts that will literally make their pants burn – the “Pants on Fire” effect

Let's not jump on the Rift review bandwagon and start releasing opinion based articles from Examiner. Amateur writers who often lack professionalism would be an accurate description, regardless of how well written it is, there is no credibility.
I still think the majority of Rift players are bored Ex-WoW players who are looking for something familiar yet subtly different... I'm still holding out for Guildwars 2 or SWTOR, after FFXIV, I'm REALLY skeptical about buying another MMO.
