
The video game BAFTA’s are supposed to be an example of the how the games industry has become more respected but in reality it just shows why the video game industry shouldn’t be respected. I didn’t watch the BAFTA’s on Wednesday but Lewis did see the list of nominees and winners and he was very unimpressed.

The Quiet Things is an upcoming narrative game by Silver Script Games that tells an autobiographical story about studio founder Alyx Jones’ experiences with mental health issues and childhood abuse and trauma. It was supposed to be featured during tonight’s BAFTA Game Awards, but according to Jones, the trailer was removed from the showcase at the last minute due to its content.

They're all crap anyway. You know those shows are just meant to kiss corporate ass and not to really pick the best game or best whatever else. But yeah, at least this one is better than the VGA's as I see Heavy Rain won some awards which were well deserved. They wern't even nominated at the VGA's for anything. Big surprise right?
