The Nintendo 3DS is not just another handheld, it's the first iteration of a brand new game platform and the first gaming to utilize glasses-free 3D technology. But can the device live up to the hype, overcome the limitations of glasses-free 3D, and produce a compelling new gameplay experience worthy of its $250 MSRP?

FuRyu revealed on Friday its Exstetra fantasy role-playing game is getting an HD remaster that will launch this summer on Steam.

NE: "We rank the 10 best main series Super Mario games in celebration of the recent MAR10 Day with 2D and 3D included."
Best 2D, Mario World, best 3D, Mario 64. Can't say there's been a bad one, although Mario World 2 wasn't a true sequel. The Mario Land games were good (not the first one) and also Wario Land. I thought after Mario 64, Mario 3D World was excellent.

A new amiibo has its release date from Nintendo, and pre-orders have started revealing the price and how it's the most expensive figure ever.
I Was Gonna Get One But Then NGP Got Announced
Still going to get it, but may wait for a redesign.
Killer launch lineup and a great list of exclusives on the DS and I love the RPGs on the DS
@Rob
Yeah, Killer may also be a strong word, but for me, I'll be stocking up on previous DS games, like Okami and Pokemon lol.
Nintendo always releases new designs-- the original DS looks horrid compared to DS lite.
$250 is also a lot to ask for considering all this. Disappointed in battery life too
The 3DS will have enough quality software to justify a purchase. Plus, think of what can be done with the "off the map" titles like Korg DS-10 and the like with the increased power over DSi.
Not even considering this one. The NGP makes this look archaic.
Expected. I wanted this, but the price and the fact that your eyes can start hurting so quickly turned me off. Just ruins the point really.
