I must admit, i really like the look of this game. I've been waiting for another game that is as in depth as Bad Company was in terms of story, and this seems to bring it right home. Not being from america, i don't get that sense of patriotism, but it is still a pretty awesome concept for the game. I can't wait to get my hands on it, and this review has really swayed me. Especially with the multiplayer.

You're UK though? if it struck London or a town you recognised it'd hit home more? I think it's a scary concept.. I live in the UK and the thought that America - something we see as a major force, is destroyed and broken.. it's an eye opener and makes you ask "What if"

I really hope this game lives up to its true potential, it could truely be a call of duty killer i believe

@David In ways I can get some of the negative reviews, but when you read many of them they're pushing on what DEagle points out, and are full of comparisons..

Edit: Failed comment ordering =/

DEagle-izer5539d ago

The devs weren't trying to out do COD with Homefront. That would be nigh impossible in this stage of their careers.
They were only trying to break into the FPS genre because that's their specialty, since they used to be with DICE back in the days. They're all different games, once you compare them, you set yourself up for disappointment.

DavidBaller5539d ago

Spot on. When playing I didnt compare, and am loving it so far! Comparisons have jut led to let down reviews for this game =(

Devs Share Personal Touches They've Hidden in Games

Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.
