The Wii has been a very successful console, selling nearly 85 million units in its four years on the market. But as the system heads into its fifth year of life things seem to be slowing down a bit, with few quality releases forecast for the rest of 2011. Nintendo probably has some secrets up its sleeve but all we know of right now is The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword. Nintendo has a lot of momentum going in to the next console generation, but can they capitalize on that and make the Wii's successor an even bigger hit than the original? Here are a few things I feel Nintendo needs to incorporate into their next generation console to reach these goals.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

NE: "We predict all of the possible announcements and games Nintendo could release for The Legend of Zelda's 40th anniversary."
How about the original Legend of Zelda remade with the Echoes of Wisdom engine. Maybe throw in added dungeons, or expand the map to make the game longer than the original.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.
Better hardware and 3rd party support, but that was already obvious. Also gets annoying that you have to play just about every game with that motion controller. That got old quick too. But Nintendo's big thing was to make it affordable and their target market is kiddies parents, so no way they can make a nexgen system with proper hardware for their usual pricing structure unless they just wanna take a huge hit on profits. They'd really have to be confident about it's success then. As far as 3rd party software goes..who wants to develop for a system who's graphics were already outdated at launch? Not sure what they were thinking then. I guess they thought that controller was going to help them coast along and people wouldn't even notice? Sorry Nintendo, shiny new toy effect wore off and every did. Since they continued this same strategy with the 3DS I'm guessing that most likely they don't learn. So Nintendo fans, enjoy you next big gimmick system for the minute until people don't care about that one again soon either. ;)
people do care about Wii and they will care about 3DS too, maybe even more.. and I will say again, it's not about controls or gimmicks, it's all about big library of quality games
