
Gateway introduced its new top-of-the-line "Quad HD" display on Thursday, a 30-inch display that it says is capable of 1600p resolution, more than four times that of the traditional 720p display. The display upconverts standard definition to look like high definition, and can even convert 1080p -- the current highest resolution in which video is delivered-- to 1600p. Consumers could use a variety of inputs, including HDMI, DVI-D, VGA, component, S-Video, and composite interfaces.

You can get Hall effect controllers slightly cheaper, but you'd struggle to find as feature-rich a package without some heavy, heavy sales.

I fail to see how this is AI shhhhlllloooop. Looking at the different games they showed, this has made many of them look far better.

i have a monitor at work that already does that res, 2550x1600 i think, i like the upscaling tho, very nice!
still good luck in building a computer capable of playing games in the res! imagine crysis... *dribbles*...

oviously other bit but they are the important ones....
and my rig manages a stable 100fps at 1920x1080 so maybe with another GRX card ill have a chance, thats only another £500!! oh plus i wonder how much this badboy of a monitor would cost, £1000+ i guess, our 32" apple at work was around £850!!!
