"Rocksmith is the only video game that gets players stage ready"

Lol. I'm all for a more intuitive approach to teaching music for those who don't want to learn through traditional methods, but quotes like the above rob the game of any credibility it could have before it's even shipped.

Looking at the videos on their website - it looks like the learning/playing interface is a cross between typical Rockband note scrolling and tab. I personally hate guitar and bass tabs, but it's probably the simplest way to get into playing, so they've probably chosen the right course there.
