Thats like saying is rock music outdated. NO

ATiElite5521d ago

NO! just too many developers are to busy coping COD to make a proper action game.

Bring back the side scrolling shooters.

RyuCloudStrife5521d ago

thats my favorite genre after RPG

WildArmed5521d ago

Exactly! :D

Action games are not outdated, but that doesn't mean we don't like change.
Hey, if you wanna make something totally new -- go for it.

Just stop taking jabs at the genre trying to justify your outside of the box thinking.

Most of my fav. games this gen are either RPGs or Action games.

Um no , just no one has ambitiously pursued the next advancement of the genre

A LIVING LEGEND5521d ago

Ninja Gaiden is outdated, not so sure about action games in general however.
Plenty of room to explore new ideas...or just pump out UC3,NG4,whatever dream we cling to.Talk about advancement in between, whatever works.

The Ninja Gaiden Timeline, Such as It Is | Restart

The Ninja Gaiden series has spanned nearly three decades across different creators, so of course the timeline is convoluted. But maybe Restart can simplify it enough to get you going in Ragebound and Ninja Gaiden IV without much trouble.

The original NES game is still.one of the hardest games I've almost beaten in my life I believe I was on the second final boss using original hardware and carts no save states but I could never finish it

Man, I finally braved trying Master Ninja in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and… man, I suck, lol. I really want to try for the platinum because I love the game so much, but yeesh…

I remember Ninja Gaiden Black and how awesome the hype and support was around for that. The changes from the base game and the world rankings we could check out in the menus. Played through the OG game once and Black at least twice.

Never played the original 2D games but I'm excited to go through 2 Black soon.

I was there as a young boy playing the first Ninja Gaiden in The arcade. It was awesome for the time! I’ve played every one skins and on every one of those systems. And here I am, as a 50 year old man giddy with joy playing through the most recent release, with more on the way! Heck yeah it’s a great series!

It needs a Pro patch. I started it but since I knew Pro was coming I’m going to start over. The game is good (and challenging which I really like) but it needs some more power to fix some of it’s performance issues. I think the engine isn’t great but with PSSR and more power it should run a lot smoother

just_looken547d ago

No they need to fix the current mess a base ps5 should be getting locked 60fps with this game.

This is Rise of the Ronin vs Ghost of Tsushima video in it you can see how much ronin copied ghost yet one is 30fps the other 60fps and ghost has better graphics.

Good because it needs it badly. The combat is excellent but the graphics are awful.
