It looks like Bethesda Softworks has been set to officially produce the next "Prey 2". According to french magazine Joystick, it has been indicated that the game is now under development and could be published by Bethesda and Human Head Studios by the first quarter of 2012

OHH my gawd , i literally just started paying Prey 1 again a week ago...........then i was like what the hell happened to number 2 then i saw the last news was posted in 2007,,,,... 3d realms and then i thought didnt microsoft destroy 3d reals, when they bought half the team that made MAX PAYNE to make alan wake,,,,....then maby they left this half finished and left max payne 3 in rockstars hands
at least Human head is back....i relly hope they dont try to use the Game Byro Engine now,, maby just finish up what was started with the new elder scrolls engine
