Totally agree on what he said about R6 and GHR, they don't make them like they used to. I was really put off when GHR went the sci-fi, third person route :(

Rogue Spear was a blast, spent so many hours online in that game.

ShawnCollier5541d ago

Sounds like a pretty cool development team. :)

mephman5541d ago

Yea, they're very bullish about what they want too and that can only be good.

Elwenil5541d ago

More like full of BS. After the mess they made of Dragon Rising they ought to be talking something. It remains to be seen if they are just blowing smoke like the last game or if they actually have it together.

"good gameplay is what gives good replayability." couldn't agree more

Hardedge5541d ago

You said it, there's no point in throwing down a bunch of unnecessary features if the gameplay is terrible.

I know I'll probably get a lot of flak for this, but just look at the CoD series, what have they really added to it other then changed the setting and added new weapons/perks? The addictive core gameplay has remained largely the same, which is probably why so many people keep going back to it every flippin' year.

Shame the guy is completely full of shit and talks about how they have the best ever AI, is that why the AI stands around in the fucking open getting shot to pieces running back and forward struggling to obey a simple "move here" command?

Or how about we would have acess to all 25 of the games vehicles, maybe how there would be over 30 weapons when there was really about 15.

Same Chief

Off Topic: John man I can't wait for your game!

Some mediocre - crap games there. Couldn't even include any Codemasters racing games? It's the only thing they're good at.

Canadiangamernet4308d ago

Including the Dirt series in the bundle would have been awesome but i wouldn't say they are crappy games. I liked Overlord 1 & 2 and both Operation Flashpoint are decent FPS the other one are so so for me.

guitarded774308d ago

Like I said... crappy to mediocre. I liked Overlord too. Didn't care for Operation Flashpoint. But eve liking Overlord, I have no illusions that it isn't a mediocre game.

AntsPai4308d ago

Even though it's still technically a good deal, the whole $5 or £4 thing annoys me. Humble bundle doesn't do this. No thanks.

Operation Flashpoint: Red River - The Shooter That Could Have Been The Greatest

Mobile & Apps: "One of the most underrated shooters of the previous generation was Operating Flashpoint: Red River for the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. With all its problems, I believe this is a game that is worth playing, however, it is not too hard to see why the game didn't quite kick off, as it should have."

I liked it, didn't quite finish it though. Maybe I will now.

Loved this game, it was dumbed down from Dragon Rising but still an enjoyable game. Was still offputting to people looking for instant/non stop action

Theangrybogan4866d ago

Ha! Some colleagues and I are actually planning on hitting this one up tonight. Great game.
