
The Creative Assembly this morning said that Total War: Shogun 2 won’t have DirectX 11 support out of the box. The feature is being held back for testing while the development team works to improve performance on DirectX 11 cards. The plan is to patch DirectX 11 support back into the game two to four weeks after release.

probably because Nvidia cards are struggling so much with DA2 on DX11, i know first hand have a gtx 460 and getting single digit frames on very high settings.

Thats disappointing, kind of suggests the game is not quite finished and they are rushing the release.
Im going to wait for the patch to be released before purchasing.
