An early Fatality Friday is upon us, as GameSpot posted a new Raiden Vignette video for Mortal Kombat today. In this video we get our first look at both X-ray and Fatality moves on what appears to be a new level with a pathway next to a water feature. Also, we get a quick glimpse of Sheeva on the roster of evil.
A brutal reset, a smarter story, and a return to what made it great—Mortal Kombat (2011) revived the series.
Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.
15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.

Let me fix this title to something less click baity for you:
New Book: Mortal Kombat: Flawless Victory Announced.
The description clearly says what it is. It is not like people have to click to the site. They just have to read.
Sure they don't have to go to the site but to get to the description they already have to have clicked on it. Thus the term 'click bait'.
If its a book say its a book in the article title. Everyone’s gonna think this is a new game and get annoyed reading your description.
The Mods had no issues with the title.
The first line under the image says new book and you can see it in the preview windows without even having to click to read the description.
It also says a Visual History on the image.
On desktop and mobile the text a visual history is not visible in the thumbnail on the homepage.
I grew up on this stuff. Adding it to the art collection!
I do hope the next MK iteration goes back to the core of what made these characters appeal in the first place. A few of them lost their edge - I think I've had enough with some of the auntie designs 😂

Don't really like Raiden. Old guys in fighting games are boring but his fatality was cool.

the series was never a good one, the fighting was always stiff, uninspired, 40% of characters are scorpion/subzero clones, 40% smoke/syrax clones, then the rest actual characters.
the only good thing about the series is the fatalities, glad to see they are back and the combat seems to be shaping up to actually being a fighting game.
my problem with the game wwas lack of unique moves, i mean if u pushed punch for one character it was the same punch as everyone elses, same thing for the kicks, sweep kicks etc. the only things different was special moves and fatalities, but now they are getting somewhere

why doi deserve one bubble? because thats how i feel about the series? u know that the series has been crap snce it went 3d. the only good games were 1,2 and trilogy. come on, they took out fatalities and replaced them with Create ur own finisher crap, then took outviolence in DC vs MK, the series just isnt amazing, but im complimenting this installmet by saying it looks alot beetter
