The video game market has evolved considerably since the introduction of the Wii and DS. How does Nintendo approach its competition going forward?
IGN interviews the President of Nintendo America on the video game market.

The rejection is non-final (and even when such rejections are labeled as “final”, the process is far from over, given that there can be, at minimum, an appeal to the Federal Circuit).
Good, as they should! A game mechanic like that shouldn't be locked behind a patent, and Nintendo didn't invent it either.
Nintendo wants to keep wasting money on bullshit lawsuits, real smart in this economy. They should put that money aside for other game projects. On the other hand, I don't care if they waste it all either, and they are screwed in the future maybe that will teach them a lesson.

Nintendo completed its share repurchase and set its secondary offering price at 8,347 yen ahead of March 16 delivery.

Nintendo filed a lawsuit in the United States Court of International Trade.
Nintendo of America is suing the United States government over the sweeping tariffs President Donald Trump put in place last year, according to a complaint filed Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade and obtained by Aftermath.
LOL I read this on gaff, will they refund the money back to the gamers? highly unlikely. Didn't they just raise prices and pass it onto the gamers? Only Nintendo would send out the Ninjas to the US government.
hes a real gamer.
I agree with him. What sets Nintendo apart from Microsoft and Sony isnt really the innovative ideas that Nintendo comes up with. Its their franchises that people grew up with that really sells their brand name.
However i would like to see some new IPs because i am getting tired of seeing the same faces time and time again. Plus i would prefer if they did new games over remakes (ex 3DS Orcania of Time). It isnt much to ask for Nintendo is a company with a lot of money so they can do this. The reasons why they dont is because they really dont need any new IPs as long as their old ones continue to sell.
Nintendo always does good. too bad this site is infested with morons still asking for new IP's while completely ignoring them when they are announced.
I'd love something new from Sony but they keep releasing the same crap every year. How many killzones can you push out in 4 years? Soon we will be on the 5th uncharted which is nothing but Tomb Raider with a male lead. Not exactly new or innovative. I just think it is time they really did something new not just copy other IPs even their own and calling it new and original.
With Nintendo SMBWii is completely different from SMG yet Uncharted1 and Uncharted 2 along with Uncharted Portable are all exactly the same game.
Twilight Princess is very different from Spirit tracks yet Killzone and Killzone rehash portable are the exact same.
While a Nintendo franchise may see many different games Sony franchises are just rehash after rehash of the exact same gameplay
I'm more of a PC gamer but I enjoy a console too. I'd rather own a Wii which is completely different than owning a PS3 which only offers inferior 3rd party ports to PC games and of course rip off IP's of establiswhed franchises. I can only play the same game so many times and most of their games require the use of one button to beat. Great for casuals but not for real gamers like me.
I absolutely love Nintendo, and trust me.......NOBODY comes up with better gameplay. Nintendo is pure fun and originality. :)
