Gears 3 in depth look.

Gears of War as most of you know has had its name and reputation built around its hardcore story line and its amazing online game play, but in Gears 3 the story line looks to be a little less in depth and the graphics will not be as good as in previous games. Along with the difference in the quality you will be experiencing new characters and new battle grounds. Plus many new maps and games modes for online game play.

I can't wait for Gears 3 I think its gonna be the best one yet

starchild5548d ago (Edited 5548d ago )

Yes, the game will be great, but this "preview" was pathetic.

First of all, I have played Gears 3 Beast mode at the last PAX and the graphics are definitely a lot better than Gears 2. The lighting in particular has seen a massive overhaul. The textures are as great as ever, if not even better.

Second, Gears of War's fame has never been based on its "hardcore storyline". That said, Epic have been very clear that they are trying to improve the storytelling and tell a fantastic tale of survival that will bring the trilogy to a satisfying close. I guarantee that nobody outside of Epic has played through the campaign so this tool is just pulling crap out of his @ss with regards to the story. He knows no more about the story than any other gamer.

@starchild

i agree with you, i havent played it yet but after reading the first couple of lines i quit reading. its just an article talking about how bad the game will be.

you get a bubble.

If you guys would read on and actually take time to understand the point of view of the author it is just high lighting parts of story and views from the people at epic games i would highly suggest you look at the epic forums to understand his personal view

"Gaming’s Biggest Fighting Franchise"

Press X to (seriously) doubt.

Underrated comment. I used to hate that game so much that any time my siblings asked me to play it, I just picked Hom and shut myself down mid-match.

And then MK1 killed it again.

15 years went by so fast. I remember playing through the story mode at launch.
