The Homefront 'Battle Code' is now available on the PlayStation Store for £6.29/€7.99 ahead of the game's release next week.
THQ said in January that the upcoming FPS would adopt the publisher's recently developed online pass system for multiplayer, and now we know what it'll cost on this side of the pond.

Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"

Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.

Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
robbing bastrds!
It's for used games only. EA's been doing this for a while. I think it's a dirty move. I mean if someone buys your game used there's a big chance they will buy your next game new.
Screw That
wow, thats cheap, and i dont mean the price lol
I don't see where's the major problem, if you buy the game new, you don't have to pay the online pass. It only allows publishers and developers to make some cash from used game sales. I can see why some people would be against it, as you can't give/lend the game to your friends after you're done with it, but they can still play the single player and even get a taste fot he MP. Also consider that it might force companies like Gamestop to lower the price of some of their used games, as they can't simply sell you a used version of Homefront for 5$ less than a new copy, and expect you to buy it and then buy the online pass.
