Really looking forward to this game, i'm really glad that they are going to support it with DLC. with the idea of occupied America, I think thats the games main selling point as other countries will have thought that will never happen and, as it said in the interview, Ameticans probably think that will never happen, but its an interesting alternate reality.

DavidBaller5547d ago

I think the part about hitting home says it all... If there was a game with English towns I visited and lived in being destroyed I'd go nuts saving things.

DavidBaller5547d ago

Anyone else feel they're hanging too much off the Multiplayer...?

yen8885547d ago

I see where you are coming from, the campaign is apparantly completable in 5 hours but because of the subject matter I think people will keep coming back to it and therefore i have to disagree with you

BabyTownFrolics5547d ago

i still dont understand the issue with the campaign length. I finished KZ3 in 5 hours and 40 minutes on normal, I'm sure on the hardest difficulty it would take longer.

DanSolo5547d ago

5 hours is pretty short for this game... I kind of figured it would last longer what with having to save the USA from occupation and the story being a major part of this games selling point.

That's a bit disappointing for me to be honest, if I buy COD or BF:BC then I am buying it for multiplayer, but this game I was thinking about getting for the single player as it sounds a bit like Freedom Fighters from last gen and I enjoyed that.... sounds like the story side will not be as long as I hoped.

I am not someone that cares about playing the same story again so I think Homefront has just been relegated to a rental for me personally. It's a shame as I was kind of hoping for an updated Freedom Fighters, but never mind there are plenty of good games coming out this year so leaving this one as a rental will probably be a good thing!

I like it since that's where I'll spend most of my time, but I think the SP seems really good too. It seems to have a lot in common with Half-Life and the story is said to be really good albeit a bit short.

Dan_Vivian5545d ago

Yeah, the multiplayer is awesome. I can't wait to play it fully and properly. Especially to get my rank up, and earn a load of stars in every fight. I'm not too sure about the single player yet. It'll be interesting to see how the story unfolds.
