Isn't he pretty aged already? He easily looks 40+.

ThanatosDMC5552d ago

Maybe lack of exercise... he looks really really scrawny and hunched.

ArtsyGamer5552d ago (Edited 5552d ago )

The only way to stop him from aging is to kill him now.

(I don't want to kill him though, he's the only good part of G4)

Godmars2905552d ago (Edited 5552d ago )

Can always freeze him, thaw him out once and a while to play games and get a feel on the industry, then freeze him again.

That, or figure out a way to copy his brain into a computer. And cloning is aways an option.

ThanatosDMC5552d ago

Kill him and then make him into a terminator... err.. gaminator?

Imagine if HHG replaced him... hahaha!

OGharryjoysticks5552d ago

they can give me his job. I play the games already and can give you the real deal info straight up in your face like it or not that can't be beat even if triple teamed. Unless that triple team is by 3 super hot sleazy chicks and in that case I keep the camera rolling and put on a different sort of show then =)

marioPSUC5552d ago

He seems to be like the only person on G4 that actually knows his shit and plays video games. He needs his own show on G4 or something.

UnSelf5552d ago

yea he really does. charismatic, funny and knowledgeable

I don't agree with that. I WISH I could agree with that. But buying habits and customer opinions prove otherwise

We've seen developers in the AAA space try new things and ideas. More often than not, the customers aren't willing to give things a chance, or not enough people buy into the project for it to grow.

Creativity works better in the indie space because the budgets, pressures, and expectations aren't the same.

it's a nice idea and it worked during the PS2/PS3-era when AAA didn't cost hundreds of millions of dollars. smaller budgets and shorter development time left room for more creativity and more risk. a game didn't need to sell 4 million+ copies to break even. things are different now.

This is the guy who bragged about crunching his staff and having them work through the night. Crunch culture has lost more talent and done more damage to the industry than any other factor. Screw him.
