We’re exploring a Diablo-related concept for consoles and are currently looking to fill a few senior console-related positions on the Diablo III team. As we’ve said in the past, with proper care the gameplay could suit the console platform, and we’re interested in seeing what talent out there might be interested in such a project. If you’re passionate about all things Diablo and have the requisite skill and experience, then head over to our jobs site to check out the positions and apply.

I don't care if they port it to consoles or not, but they better not delay the PC version to get a console version caught up.

if you want it to look and play like the pc version, then it won't be coming to this gen of consoles

i.e. in hd, with fully rotatable camera and dazzeling spell effects with lots and lots of mobs on screen

if you are okay with sub hd, fixed camera and 20-30 frames, then sure, i don't see why not,

it would be best to wait for next gen for this one

That would be a BADASS launch title for whatever system gets it

unfortunately, it will most likely come out way after the pc version

On pc this game will sell 4 million in 24 hours

I need this just as bad as I need The Witcher 2 on my PS3. So please make both of them happen.

why wouldnt they. but would be cool if the did a 720p version of diablo 2 as a download,but its all good

Well, it's sure to be a day one buy for me..
However, if they release it on consoles, I'm sold.
Typically I would buy it on PC, but I know more people that play on consoles.

Whats the point?. It will be much better on PC.

It will dominate on pc, i can already imagine myself having my own perfect diablo 3 hotkeys layout, that will just slay everything in my path. Also moving will be a big bummer! mouse movement is the shiz, combined with some epic hotkeys!!

ok so, the reason I bought starcraft2 wasn't because I'm a fan of fast-paced RTS, it was thanks to the mods.

now lets say that hypothetically this lead designer will actually find a solution for diablo3 to work on consoles, will it offer mods?

Tell me again how the multiplatform strategy was supposed to fix everything. Look at your results and compare them to Nintendo, which keeps thriving with exclusives. Your loyal fans are gone. And let’s not forget the pile of IPs you purchased only to let them rot.

The worst thing is this is down from last years numbers/expectations which was down from the previous years numbers/expectations. You think about how long “down” has been a consistent part of the communication and you realize those subscriptions are what’s holding that boat together. The price cut of gamespass is still a price raise in a string of price raises. They are trying to use players to offset the missing revenue. Now call of duty is out of gamespass, which is literally WHY they bought the company. To draw people to the subscription. They realized they missed a boatload of money and that wasn’t sustainable. Now you pay for it like you would have if they never bought the company… so why buy the company? Mind you those billions still need to be paid back. Yeah it gives you a chance to say we make the biggest FPS… but the internal conversations must be brutal at high level on topics that really matter. Like revenue. Profitability. And ROI for the shopping spree.
