indiePub interviews Adam "Atomic" Saltsman

indiePub has posted an interview with game developer Adam "Atomic" Saltsman. He created the one-button game Canabalt and maintains the Flixel ActionScript library.

He'll be co-hosting indiePub's upcoming award ceremony for the 2011 Independent Propeller Awards taking place March 13, 2011, at South by Southwest in Austin, TX (USA).

From the interview:

"I wanted to make my own games starting at about age six but, back then, we didn't have all these awesome tools that we have now," Saltsman told indiePub. "Like a lot of my friends, I made games in Hypercard or designed pen-and-paper, board and card games that were all pretty bad but fun to build and play anyway. I started modding FPS games in middle school and finally started coding my own games during college. I worked as a software dev for a few years after school, since I couldn't find work in the games industry."
