As much temptation as I feel to download these leaks, I just can't. I always feel as if my morals are being crushed from just THINKING about downloading video games for free.

I used to do it all the time when I was younger, and that kills to think about it. I've already made up my mind that when I can afford it (gonna be a while), I'll be buying all the games/music/movies I've downloaded.

The first step towards it was the Crysis Collection for PC and Half Life 2. Not to mention the other 30+ games I have bought on Steam. So I'm on a good roll. It's just when it comes to music and movies is where I'll be having a budget problem.

I'm okay when it comes to console gaming though. I've bought every single game I've ever played on there. Mainly because the temptation is infinitely lower to pirate software on something like an Xbox360 or PS3.

killzone 3's sales, it was that awful beta, with server crashes and terrible aliasing everywhere

I have considered downloading this game as I was gonna trade in my remaining games (as I am poor and only have a few) so i can afford to buy it coz it looks awesome, but I don't wanna clear my collection only to end up with a crappy game, so if they release a demo, I wouldn't even consider a download.

Really for the love of god how f**king hard is it for these publishers to keep there shit in check.

Its hard!Some games get to the shops for sales 5 days early!Than there is always that little thief that stole a copy from the warehouse ou even from the print factory!

That and the games is not real good so I doubt it will have legs. Kz3 is very comparable to kkz1 and is overrated imo. Bad story and bad pop ins and slow frame rate in parts. That's the sp campaign which is short and has a terrible story and is boring. What a dissapoinment. Fail.

how can it be that games get leaked? is it the retailsers that get the games a couple of days before putting htem on the shelves? is it the reviewers who get them weeks before hand to review them but then they do get review copies. is it someone inside the game copy or publisher being an asshole? cmon tighten up your security for and industry that hates pirates your not exactly helping yourself

Why can't companies just lock the disc until an update is out on xBox Live and PSn?
And, give the stores a code to give with the game on release day, for those without internet..

Seems like that would at least help some with leaks.

Does anyone think this game will be worth the $50 on the PC. It looks very interesting but Shogun is right there on release date and I can't decide which one to get.

Developers know when their game is good and when it's bad. That's why you usually don't see a demo. They know if you play it long enough you'll figure out how shitty it is and you wont buy it. It's much easier for them to just let people try out the pirated version, so they can blame lower sales on that and not because the game is bad. Look what happened with Crisis 2 already. They released a demo, a lot of people are unhappy about (the PC version) and are saying they wont buy it (they're playing it legit). Prime example of why most game companies don't like releasing demos. Now with MK they must be very confident about the quality of that game because you rarely see a demo for a big named fighting game. Either way it's just an excuse for them to use for a poor quality release. The high quality titles always make big profits regardless of piracy. I just want these game companies to work harder on their releases and stop making excuses. Release complete games without bugs and fully test it before giving it to the public! Stop being greedy and start caring more about the consumer and maybe then you'd get more sales, eh?

I laugh at how when Crysis 2 got leaked the community got all defensive, "you know support Crytek and all" (which is the better thing to do.) Yet my predictions for Homefront... nah who gives a rats ass.. Not taking sides just saying.

OK two things...one games are leaked so frequently now on every platform that hearing a new game is leaked is akin to me saying I woke up today is news. It happens all the time, I dont really think its news anymore.

2nd thing... I absolutley hate hearing about or giving these stories any news space. Its just like an advertisement for the hacker/leaker of the game. Might as well title it "Come get game XYZ now as its out free for you while supplies last"

On a different note, in prepperation for Homefront I have been watching Vice Guide to North Korea. If you think some of the things about North Korea are over blown...just watch this video. N. Korea is by far the scariest country in the world and God help us if they ever decide to act out and take back S. Korea.

Gaming media is adding fuel to the fire.Before media breakout,maybe atbest 1% people knew of the leak.Now whole world knows that.They did the same to crysis 2.Even this so called media added screenshots from a leaked game.Gaming media is meant for good of gaming,not the other way around.

Disappointing but hey it was bound to happen. The leaked PC version is still unplayable apparently though, I don't believe a crack has been released.

Really hope there's a demo this week, they confirmed one a long time ago but have since gone quiet on it.
