There’s a massive dungeon crawling void in video games, this void has been there for a good long while. Many have tried to fill the void but have ultimately failed. Back in 2009 Runic games released Torchlight, the game was met with both critical and user praise, fast forward to 2011 and Torchlight is set to make its appearance on Xbox Live.
Replicating the addictive formula that made Diablo such a classic, Torchlight has become something of a Mecca for wandering Diablo fans. Torchlight doesn’t offer an engrossing or highly original story but does however set up players with the bare basics of pick a class go to town pick up quests go complete them. The game’s plot focuses on the town of Torchlight which is sat upon a mine which happens to contain a strong source of Ember (a powerful ore used to imbues items and people with magical power). In traditional fashion the town is having trouble with an ancient evil and through a number of events the player is dragged into the action, thus begins the dungeon crawling of the locations below Torchlight.
Following the official release of the RTX Remix runtime, modders have renewed their efforts to remaster classic PC games like Torchlight.
Online multiplayer is back for 11 more games thanks to Insignia's XBL 1.0 replacement service running on Original Xbox consoles and the Xemu emulator on PC. Multiplayer, voice chat, leaderboards, etc. have been a monthly addition for many games from Xbox's past library thank to the team at Insignia.live! The 11 new games are now playable online once again after 13+ years.

Yawn.... I will say torchlight is fun, but i have that on my steamdeck. Relicta is also on PS+ Extra and looks like it would make a cool VR game. No PSVR support though.

Hmm... that is funny. I see it more as a negative against XB. Like other games on both, some offer a VR mode for PS and this looked like it should be one of them. Then again it doesnt even offer VR for PC so... ehh.

I guess if I paid $5/month for this crap I'd still want to know what I got...
Yeah, be interesting to know. I hardly care because of Game Pass now, still don't mind seeing what we get, but I've come to terms that it's mostly going to be nothing I'll play if have GP.
They should get rid of games w gold. With Gamepass I have too many better games to even think about GWG.
So they've managed to decrease the value you get each month without decreasing revenue by making the games crappier. If they still charged $5/month without giving you ANY games at all, it would open them up to criticism and direct comparisons to PS+ without any way to subjectively spin the message

Technically forcing people to move to Gamepass Ultimate. Regular gamepass doesn't include Gold.

@ Silly, not sure what you're trying to say, you want game pass ultimate for the price of xbox live gold? That's ridiculous the amount of full price day 1 games you get included in game pass - you don't get that for cheap. Nobody is forced to get game pass, if the value is there you subscribe. if there's a drought in games you unsubscribe like i just did a month ago. Will likely get back on game pass this fall/holiday and into 2023 when the games are flooding in.
Im really looking forward to this. No co-op is a bummer though.
