
Demian Linn writes: Pac-Man creator Toru Iwatani's somewhat rambling GDC 2011 talk (entitled "How to create a good game -- from my experience of designing Pac-Man") covered some surprising ground: Apparently he thought the whole eating-stuff aspect of Pac-Man would really ratchet up the game's appeal to women. Because ladies love to eat!
So that happened, but then he also showed a handful of never-before-seen design doc images for Pac-Man that are pretty cool, which I've saved for posterity.
