Off Topic: John man I can't wait for your game!

Some mediocre - crap games there. Couldn't even include any Codemasters racing games? It's the only thing they're good at.

Canadiangamernet4303d ago

Including the Dirt series in the bundle would have been awesome but i wouldn't say they are crappy games. I liked Overlord 1 & 2 and both Operation Flashpoint are decent FPS the other one are so so for me.

guitarded774303d ago

Like I said... crappy to mediocre. I liked Overlord too. Didn't care for Operation Flashpoint. But eve liking Overlord, I have no illusions that it isn't a mediocre game.

AntsPai4303d ago

Even though it's still technically a good deal, the whole $5 or £4 thing annoys me. Humble bundle doesn't do this. No thanks.

Ubisoft: Ship battles not part of the "DNA of 'Assassin's Creed' multiplayer"

Fans were practically begging Ubisoft to include multiplayer ship battles in Assassin's Creed III when the feature was first announced. Surely the studio has had enough time to get it packaged in with Black Flag, no? "No," says lead game designer Tim Browne regarding the game mode. But according to him, it wasn't even a matter of having enough time.

That sounds like a complete and utter cop out in my opinion.

Fans beg for it, but Ubi don't include it because its not in the "DNA" of the series?......don't make me laugh, you just made it the DNA of the SP of your latest game. You can't just keep doing the same MP over and over again, you have to innovate, and what better way to innovate than with FREAKING NAVAL BATTLES IN MP!

RuleNumber54579d ago

I agree with you on this one for sure! They should have it in there, especially since the majority of traversal is in a darn ship.

Maybe they're scared it's too much into Wargaming territory with World of Warships. It should be in there though, especially since it's going on next-gen.

JimmyHACK4579d ago (Edited 4579d ago )

Actually the game director said the MP Naval Battles are the biggest thing he wishes they could have fit in but they didn't have the time so they had to scrap it.

GarrusVakarian4579d ago (Edited 4579d ago )

I would rather have waited a little longer and had naval MP battles........damn launch time frames.

JimmyHACK4579d ago (Edited 4579d ago )

Ya but they won't wait and slash their sales. Gotta stick with their project due dates.

No doubt this will come to a future AC. If we are really lucky DLC for this, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Every game has a huge "want" list with many things cut. The Naval MP does seem like a no-brainer, but I am happy enough for now with the extremely expanded naval in the SP alone.

TheFirstClassic4579d ago

Honestly I think AC shouldn't be coming out once a year. It needs more space between titles to keep from feeling stale and to have extra time to put in new innovations.

JimmyHACK4579d ago

They have two separate huge teams cycling the games, so they get a nice proper development time for making them. So they will continue to cash in big time every year while they can.

TheFirstClassic4579d ago

Yeah that makes sense from a business standpoint.

Myst4578d ago

Everything that could make multiplayer better is sadly not put in. Maybe one day :(
