Valve keeps on innovating with the games and steam. AIming for a Valve console next ?

Valve is not interested on making a hardware..they want to create a cross-platofrm gaming service that give gamers what they want.

Lol why would Valve want to make losses making a console, when they already are selling software worth near a Billion USD.

They already have a platform where people incur the initial burden of getting the hardware, all Valve has to do is give us a great service and profit on the software. Sony and Microsoft do the same except they make losses on hardware just to be able to make profit on software, now tell me why would Valve want to start making losses?

The more i read about tech, the more i think dedicated game consoles are on their way out in the next 10 years.

Doubt it, As technology progresses so do issues, Its no more likely now to have a PS3 or 360 in an OLED tv than it would have been to stick a Mega-Drive in an old box tv

For that to happen the gaming consoles would have to not progress at all for about 10-20 years. And im sure developers would get sick of that fast

i will be joining steam if i can play there games with a controller and have access to mods and stuff that would be so cool.
