STP: Remember the old Eidos PC game Commandos, where you played as a group of special forces who had to infiltrate the enemy's base during World War 2? The upcoming iPad game Mailmen is a lot like that, if you replace the commandos with mailmen and the German soldiers with yappy dogs.

The Quality Index champions the best games on the iPad.

Toucharcade: Mailmen follows the tale of three postal employees as they try to deliver letters and packages to the public while thwarting the plans of the nefarious Newman, a former member of the team that turned to evil. Standing in their way are packs and packs of dogs eager to catch, chase and bite our heroes. The story is off-beat, ridiculous, and completely appropriate for the style of game Mailmen offers. This is also echoed in the development of the team itself, which does a great job imparting personality into each of the characters in every little thing they do.
TouchGen - You get to tie up and kick dogs. Nuff said.
Ok, well not in that order, but it’s still fun! Mailmen, by Argentina-based Sandstorm Interactive, puts you in the shoes of several different mailmen as they do their best to deliver letters across town. You’ll even be able to control multiple mailmen at once to perform specific tasks and help you strategize each level. Sounds like an easy task, if it weren’t for every mailman’s arch nemesis: dogs.
