seriously? $5 for 6 costumes?
wow, it's getting pretty bad

Dart895600d ago

Glad I have'nt bought it yet I'll wait for the super ultra mega duper deluxe edition.

SteamPunkKid5600d ago

starting to wish i had waited as well. oh well, my own damn fault for being so impatient haha

RBLAZE19885600d ago

why would anyone even buy the costume pack? Who really cares, it's way too much for 6 costumes. If it was new characters for $5 then I would understand but 5 bucks for 6 alternate costume is just a stupid move by capcom. Whoever buys that shit today does not deserve to be a gamer lol. Unless you just like throwing 5 bucks away.

i usually hate that kind of dlcs , but screw it .

As a major marvel fan , of course i'll look forward to playing with their various costumes , uniforms and alternative personas in a good game .

And so will many others .

No point trying to guilt anyone these days over this .
Everyone who jumped the dlcs ship for years , made sure it was a common and established pratice wich isnt going away . Boycotting my pleasure wont achieve nor change anything and i aint Che guevara ... so again screw it .

Those who cares will keep ignoring it , those who wants it yet count their money will await for better and bigger packs .

Gohadouken5600d ago

yup it's the collecting fever among some Marvel fan talking .

YOu have a character you happens to like in a comics or manga , and he's made available to you as a skin or character ... of course some would go at it .

And likewise for significant costumes .

The moaning for costumes in a Marvel game is insignificant for a guy that collect a same issue of a comic book at least twice for alternative covers .

Probably another BS 10kb download.

''make sure to head over to the marketplace and check out the two new Marvel vs. Capcom 3 DLC packs''

lolll are you serious? A demo, a video of a game, anything would make me want to go to the marketplace but this? lol nah

Christopher5600d ago

I hate the costume packs, but the Shadowmode Pack is a great concept for DLC. Fighting fans will eat this up and download them to continue to improve their skills.

So, costume packs are still way overpriced, new shadowmode pack should be expanded to include playstyles of tournament winners as DLC.

BlueEye5600d ago

Atleast "Shadow Mode" is free, plus its another mode yay! People have been complaining of the lack of offline modes.

DEagle-izer5600d ago

That sounds bizzare to me seeing this generation of gamers expecting every game to have some sort of online mode, usually to give them an incentive to purchase it.

I'm missing a Capcom vs SNK.. MvC isn't my cup of tea

Nasty_Neeeks2127d ago

Why the fuck they got Wolverine up there?

kayoss2126d ago (Edited 2126d ago )

I think this article is talking about both Capcom vs Marvel and capcom vs SNK.

kayoss2126d ago

The one problem i have with this franchise and series is that the end boss is always a Giant and youre fighting his giant hand or his giant head.
