MarketWatch, Los Angeles: As gamers crowded into stores this week to snap up copies of "Halo 3," creator Microsoft Corp. was heard to say its much-ballyhooed Xbox game is the "biggest entertainment launch ever" in the United States.
Not so fast.

Remakes of the campaigns featured in Xbox Game Studios' Halo 2 and Halo 3 are currently in development, according to a new rumor.
That's Microsoft's gaming division for you...kill off developers making new ip while trying to capitalize off some long lost glory that has no hope of ever being what it once was thanks to recent decision making favoring unrealistic profit goals and greed. What a joke.

That was one of the most memorable parts of Halo..
Why not just port the MCC? 🤔 That was the easiest layup ever and you completely missed it

Infinite is a dumpster fire and as much as I like ODST, in no universe it ranks above Halo 2. This list is trash.
Best to worst: Halo 3, Halo 2, Halo Reach, Halo CE, Halo 4, Halo ODST, Halo Infinite, Halo 5.
LAIR is the biggest launch, if only ps3 owners would buy it.
Actually I thought Heavenly Sword was the biggest launch ever. I think it's close to 70k now! ;)
3,333,333 served at least.
Nah we all know it aint, but its the biggest flop no doubt.
Thats funny, this article sums up what ive been trying to say about people comparing game sales with movie sales. With something costing $60 to $130, it doesnt take much to gain that much revenue.
