At this point, it's almost impossible to avoid playing a match three puzzle game on the iPhone, whether it's Bejeweled 2, Puzzle Quest or what seems like hundreds of clones, all of which challenge you to group similarly colored objects to make them disappear. Electronic Arts' upcoming title, Liqua Pop, follows this basic premise, yet it looks like nothing we've seen. With so much competition, that's definitely a good thing.

Trendy Gamers: Liqua Pop is a very tough game to review. On one hand, it is a very basic game of combining colored bubbles to help a frog up a tree. On the other hand, it is a very relaxing game that looks gorgeous and just puts a smile on your face. Luckily, the relaxing nature overwhelmed the basic gameplay and I ended up enjoying it quite a bit.

Absorbing to look at and play, Liqua Pop bursts what fun there is by turning the pressure too high.

GameZebo - Great new twist on match-3 gameplay. Touch screen mechanics are effective and intuitive. Stunning visuals. Serene music and art style make for a zen vibe.
