Joystiq: Chris Taylor's Dungeon Siege was a hit back in 2002 -- it offered a stylized take on the PC fantasy RPG experience, combining Diablo's tons-o-loot mechanics (the game even had a pack mule character that provided more inventory to your party) with an interesting experience system that leveled up skills only when used. After a sequel in 2005 (and a shameful set of Uwe Boll movies), the property has now found a home at Obsidian Entertainment, and the company is hard at work on Dungeon Siege 3, due out this May.

Neil writes: "Payday is fast approaching, and whilst that means good times are ahead, it may also mean that current cash funds are running low. But hey, that's where the Xbox Deals With Gold and Spotlight Sale comes in, delivering a host of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games at bargain basement prices. Want to know exactly what is on offer between the 19th-25th March 2019? There's a good few to choose from!"

Square Enix have teamed up with Amazon to offer a bonus game for Xbox owners that is guarenteed to be backwards compatible.

Neil writes "Dungeon Siege III has been stripped of its price tag thanks to the Xbox Games With Gold scheme. Fancy playing it on your Xbox 360 and/or your Xbox One?"
If this wasn't playable on X1 too I'd never get round to playing it. No idea how good it is but worth a go!
