SI: “I can get you in, but you have to stick close and do exactly what I say,” says a freedom fighter as he negotiates your safe passage into a Korean work camp. You and two fellow resistance members fighting the occupation of the States by the rampant North Korean menace are on a mission to find some trucks and this guy's the only one who can let you in.
But his words are striking in that they're surely tongue in cheek, because Homefront will be one of those shooters that's firmly in the Call of Duty mould. That is, you'll be lead around like you're on a leash, because there's very little room for manoeuvre.

Jack writes: "Back in March 2011, the first-person action shooter Homefront arrived on the Xbox 360 from THQ, along with a storm of publicity which included a really cool live-action trailer"

Last week game dev Steve Thornton took to Twitter to ask: fellow devs, have you ever slipped something into a game you're working on that's just for you? The replies are well worth a read.

Deep Silver and Humble Bundle are currently offering the first Homefront game for free. This offer will last for the next 48 hours, so be sure to visit its Humble Bundle page in order to acquire your free copy.
get it! the single player is excellent and intense and the MP is pretty fun, too.
Ehh, PS4 needs these deals too, or consoles in general we always get discounts rarely free stuff that's REALLY free (games with gold / psplus isn't free)
That has to be one of the lamest previews I have read in awhile. No real information was given about the game and they just go on about what they feel is the ridicules plot of the story.
Mention they didn't get far into the game and that they were lead by their nose around the game so far... but alluding that it might be due to it being the beginning of the story?
Just an idea... play the game if you have a copy. If you don't play the game fully then learn how to give detail on gameplay and actual experience versus plot and initial annoyances.
