GameZebo - Chillingo is getting in on the iOS social games movement by pitting friends against one another. In trivia, that is. The publisher has just announced that they’re joining forces with Relentless Software (the developer behind popular games like Blue Toad Murder Files for PC and the Buzz! franchise on PlayStation consoles) to create Quiz Climber, a new social game that will feature players competing against each other with trivia knowledge.

It has been another week where the only games Avault's Matthew Booth was able to play were on his iPod Touch. His lack of time and the portability of his iOS device have made it evident to him why apps have had such an impact on mobile gaming. For those of us that really enjoy gaming but find ourselves consumed with non-gaming priorities, having one of these mobile devices can provide just enough entertainment to curb that urge. This week’s app selection is mostly for a younger audience, but he still found them enjoyable and suitable for short sessions. He was also included in some beta testing for what is shaping up to be one of his favorite apps – Zen Wars. While it hasn’t been released yet, it’s worth mentioning early on so that it can find it’s way onto everyone’s radar.
Chris Buffa (Modojo): Chillingo's Quiz Climber is so exceptional that we play it obsessively. This little slice of heaven from Relentless Software is simple to play, adorable and highly addictive. In fact, we're thinking about playing it right now, and will probably pick it back up again as soon as this review goes live.
