For at least the past year there has been speculation that ArenaNet's Guild Wars 2 may show up on consoles some day. A new tidbit comes down the pipe today supporting the whole console port thing, as VGRevolution notes a brief announcement from Undead Labs regarding a new staffer:

I played it a little years ago. It was fun but I had children after I started playing and gave it up so my wife wouldn’t hate me. I got to 50 and then hung it up
Arenanet is doing smthn wrong with marketing, I never once seen an ad for a gw2 expansion and always hear it like this once an expac is already released. Not that I would play it cause I'm a gw1 purist haha

It would make since, since I don't think that NCSoft has made the 3 playstation titles they were contracted to make years ago.
I am no fan of consoles because I am a old fart. But if they can make GW2 for the consoles and not hurt the PC version, I hope it happens and wish them all the luck. Guild Wars is a very good franchise that I would like to see explored on all platforms.
NC Soft actually scrapped the plans to do any Sony Games back in 2009.
