DO YOUR SELF A FAVOUR AND DONT WATCH THIS THEY MENTION HOW MOVE LOOKS LIKE WIIMOTE BUT DONT MENTION HOW KINECT IS LIKE EYETOY BIASED TO THE END

stonecold35569d ago

thats why when i read an article early kinect is an eyetoy they are doing head tracking for forza 4 and yes nintendo and m$ just happened to follow sony . psmove sony had plans for ps2 early in its life cycle nintendo followed there. and kinect eye toy which has been done already .

blumatt5569d ago

Yeah few people realize that Move started out as a work in progress on the PlayStation 2. Yes, the Move existed in prototype form before the Wii came out! Go watch those Richard Marks videos.

The PlayStation MOVE will have a longer leg and more varieties to gamers than what the Kinect could ever provide. Why I said this.. Look at the potential point on gamers aspect, and leave all that has nothing to do with gaming aside such as little features like scrolling the menus and those hacks available(such as making hand puppets on the wall). Those are nothing more than additional bonus of the product. It has nothing to do with gaming or did even revolutionize gaming.(I mean who wants to play games on their wall?) "Tracking" is nothing new. It is the precession that makes the different to the gamers. And because Kinect is nothing more than just a tracker imitating your every action in a holding space like a 1 dimensional reflection, movement in all direction is just impossible.

Who would want to travel left and right with your thumbs? That's not all, how about the physical feel when you try to shoot a gun without even pulling the trigger(in this case pressing a button)? or Holding air instead of something(Peripherals)? Sure sound underwhelming.

Actions,RPGs,FPS,TPS,Driving and the list goes on... All these sort have atleast a requirement in a field or every of it. Take all of those games out, leaves you with merely just 5% of the whole game libraries.

Kinect isn't for the majority of gamers, if you are a tech geek perhaps it might appeal to you. But if you want more games to play, between the two, The MOVE is the choice to go.

Move doesn't look like a Wiimote. It looks like a snowcone

Also, STOP SCREAMING. WE HEAR YOU LOUD AND CLEAR.

zeksta5569d ago

Delbert, must you waste your one bubble on such retarded comments?

Jezuz5569d ago

zeksta, must jneul waste his one of his two bubbles on some B$ no one cares about? People, do yourselves a favour and don't watch/read this B$ stuff. Console wars are retarded

MNicholas5569d ago

the fact that Kinect doesn't actually work as advertised was never mentioned even when the video clips they included showed Kinect failing to respond properly.

tehpees35569d ago (Edited 5569d ago )

lolz this is just looking for hits

Edit: Jezuz I can't understand I word you are saying. please speak English

DanSolo5569d ago

Who cares which is "better"?

They both are good for different things!

Now if you combined the two.... so basically sony replaces the PSeye with a kinect quality camera to use with Move.... then I might be interested!

Of the two though, I would rather have the Move as in the long run I think it is just the better option of the two!

BabyTownFrolics5569d ago

i agree with this

a kinect quality camera + the Move and Nav controller

that would be a complete package right there. I own both and would love to be able to use them together.

jneul5568d ago

One problem with that Kinect runs at 30 fps why do you think it has more lag and is less responsive, if they upgrade it to 60fps which is what the eye runs at call me because then I will be interested, right now to me Kinect is just a cash in, see all you movers on kz3 I can't wait hehe:)

SwampCroc5569d ago

still not sold on either one...

I've entered some sweepstakes.. but I'm not hedging my bets...

either way until they come out with a "MUST HAVE" game like the lastest and greatest MGS or something and it is only Motion playable... that's currently the only way I could see myself purchasing either a Move or a Kinect

diehardgamer10005569d ago

Move Rules....well as a technology.i think it has longer legs considering wat we've seen so far.

PlayStation Move Controller Used to Perform Surgery on a Pig That Was 5,780 Miles Away

A group of surgeons made headlines after they managed to perform an endoscopic procedure on a pig located in Hong Kong by using PlayStation controllers. It involved the use of a PS5 DualSense controller as well as a PlayStation Move controller.

jznrpg581d ago

There is at least a few good jokes that could come from that title

Cacabunga580d ago

Yet another powerful device Sony gave up supporting. KZ3 move was one of the best motion controller implementation ever

just_looken580d ago

Right the ps move was awesome i have the gun thing from killzone still.

Relientk77581d ago

That's really cool. It's crazy something like that is possible with gaming controllers 1000's of miles away.

Lexreborn2581d ago

Guess that submarine should’ve used move controllers instead of logitech
