Boxhead: The Zombie Wars is an iOS port of the popular flash based PC title by the same name brought to you by MedlMobile. The game sees you playing as a character named Jon Bambo (nothing to do with Sylvester Stallone, obviously) warding off waves of zombies and demons that have escaped from hell. At your disposal are 11 weapons ranging from the lowly pistol up to a mini-gun, C4 charges and even airstrikes, all to help you send the zombies back to where they came from.

"Boxhead plays like your typical twin stick shooter with a few differences. The major change is you can’t actually shoot in any direction you aren’t facing. Yes, this means it’s not a twin stick shooter, even though it seems to try to be one."

SquareGo writes:
"The landscape for independent game developers has really been levelled thanks to the internet. Take Boxhead: The Zombie Wars. Here was a game that was made by one person as a browser based flash game and now it is available in the iOS App Store alongside games from EA and Ubisoft and the other big names..."

Kinda looks like a lego rip off.
^ Not at all, since when did Lego have zombies and airstrikes? Yes the characters are a bit lego-y but that is where the comparison ends.
Hmm...interesting visual. Good to hear it runs well.
It looks like an isometric Minecraft.
I am really interested now.
