Like I said this is just the beta version of the game. Same way that SF4 was the beta for SSF 4. In a few months they release it as Ultimate MvsC or whatever

This is the worst 60$ Ive spent on a game I think. The game just sucks, I thought they would at least give us a video for each ending.. nope it it just a ***tty comic that no one care. Everything is just useless, it is just to make us feel like there is content but there is not.
Only positive point is like I said the cutscenes.

I got the game this morning, through the mail. I ordered it off BesyBuy.ca

and i live in Toronto Canada. So i think North america's launch date is today.

Not saying it's a bad game just theres hardly lack of features.

Look at GTA4 there wasn't enough stuff in the game as GTA VC or SA but it still got 10/10

It does lack features and if it's the reviews your bringing into this to prove a point then most of them said the same thing....that it lacks stuff to do.

Theres only a Arcade mode and Online

Mission Mode is just like Training mode except it tells you what to do. Compare it to MVC2 and it dosen't live up to it.

I do not like their ways of DLC. But for this game i gotta be honest, I will get the costume packs. Since it is not just a simple new color its a full costume from previous games the characters been in or a TV show so to speak.

I know a lot of people don`t like it which is cool. I was highly against buying any DLC for SF4. But this game seems to be different for me.

Is anyone surprised ? The Marvel side alone is ripe for dlc costumes .

many marvel fans are just going to succumb to it , regardless of their feeling about dlcs .

hell I might , it's basically the first time i get to play updated versions of some characters in a good game .

The X-men/Ultimate alliance series sucked hard , and is mostly based on a mix of ultimate universe stuff and the devs redesigns .

haha, well I was about to go buy it but now Im thinking they will just release a game of the year edition or something like SUPER SF4 in about 8 months so Ill just wait.
I purchase less then half the amount of games I used to now because of dlc and yearly releases.

I got the special edition in my hands right now, Im wondering if I should just return it and get the regular one. The DLC costs $5 and has gorath and valntine, comes with costumes. The Special Edition just has the characters? Anyone confirm wether I get the costumes included in that DLC?

the dlc doesnt have jill or shuma those are seperate from this costume pack, so even if you return your SE you will have to then pay 10$ extra for costumes and jill and shuma.

considering jill and shuma will probably be 5$ character pack.

this costume pack are only the 6 costumes shown above.

There's no alt costumes on disc, instead we get detailed color swaps. Then they charge you for real costumes, what a scam because this was all planned out from the beginning.

I used to be in the same boat as most here, but then I came to realize that the DLC is there IF YOU WANT IT, NOT BECAUSE YOU NEED IT. They give you an option. Now the characters themselves are a bit of a jerk because they could have been on the disc, but the costumes are there for a bit of variety. The Shadow Mode, Spectator Mode, and more should be free when they arrive. Think back to the Tournament Mode on Super Street Fighter 4. That came as a patch and not as a paid piece of content. Capcom knows what they are doing, and I always have loved and will support their games.

Now do I buy their DLC packs? I gave into some of Super Street Fighter 4's because a few friends and I played the game to death, so the few packs I bought got their value's worth. I will buy add on characters if they are fun to use and plays differently than what's already on the roster.

I have zero respect for Capcom after this generation. They're one of two companies I refuse to support financially anymore(the other being Activision). If I absolutely must own a game they made or published, I'll buy it used.

The kind of DLC abuse they perpetuate is just disgusting.
