PC gaming is live and well, it's just moved into the online space, EA's Darkspore executive producer Michael Perry has told VideoGamer.com.
Asked for his opinion on the state of PC gaming, Perry said: "Well, it's been really interesting to watch because I think that a lot of that debate has been really focused on traditional PC gaming, and single-player games. But the reality is PC gaming hasn't gone anywhere, PC gaming has gone online."

Darkspore is back on Steam, following its recent removal from the digital distribution service over service issues.

In the wake of the game's removal from Steam, developer Maxis has denied claims that Darkspore has been abandoned, instead announcing that a persistent play-denying issue has been fixed after months of gamer complaints.

GameZone writes, "Electronic Arts has reached out to us to clarify some confusion stemming from a game-breaking bug in Darkspore that resulted in players unable to log-in to the game and its eventual removal from the Steam store."
EA: "PC gaming hasn't gone anywhere"
So that's why PC gamers always get the crappy second-hand ports from console versions in most of your games. I see.......
There are still alot of single player games on the pc so I am not sure what hes talking about
How thick are some of you guys?
He's saying in defense of PC games that they haven't gone anywhere but migrated online in terms of social interactivity.
I still prefer a good single player PC game
This is coming from the same company who refused to release Dead Space 2 DLC for the PC, even though it was already present on the disc. Nice EA.
