GameZebo - Gravity gameplay and platforming seem to go together like peanut butter and jelly nowadays. Gravity Guy, Gravity Runner, VVVVVV – the list goes on and on. But all these games have one thing in common: they’re all playing with fictional gravity.
Gary Stott writes: "Well there you have it. If you'd like to have fun with full physical things like objects, Disoriented just might be the game for you. From what I can gather, it's a third-person survival game with RPG elements that has players walking, swimming, and rowing around an island. The trailer on the game's Kickstarter page also demonstrates some crafting elements that are used to build huts and such, as well as the brutal axe murder of an unfortunate lady, whose body is later dumped at sea. There's variety, at least."
AppSpy: Disoriented combines the skill and timing of Labyrinth with modern gravity-based platforming tropes to create something entirely unique, even if it doesn't always manage to mesh with the available control scheme.
MacWorld - The aptly titled Disoriented is a side-scrolling “platformer” (I’m hesitant to call it that because there is no jumping) in which you control gravity. To do this you’ll have to spin your iPhone to change the world around your character, hurling him/her through ridiculous gauntlets of puzzles. Your reaction speed will have to be nearly perfect to successfully navigate through the numerous traps and labyrinthine levels if you hope to finish puzzles.
