Activision Buying Take-Two?

Activision reported earnings this week and they were rather depressing numbers to say the least. The bad news didn’t stop there though, Activision announced that they’ve stopped all development for the Guitar Hero franchise and would be laying off hundreds of staff who developed for the music game genre.

Activision isn’t in the best of shape at the moment and their expecting their cash cow, Call of Duty, to sell less units next game. With no promising games on the horizon to help them, Activision is in a tough position. Though there is a way to solve their little problem.

The lack of vision cannot be negated with an overflowing of monies.

Activision have no place in creative gaming, they need to stick to franchises. I'm not bad mouthing them about it, it's a big market and needed in the industry. But other pubs can handle visionary devs and interesting IPs as well. Putting a mogul in charge of creative stuff is a bad plan.

Kotick Made $155 million from MS in the buyout, the little b*tch needs to stop whining. Thanks to this Microslop deal and massive industry consolidation thousands upon thousands of devs and other workers lost their livelihoods. This greedy piggie pervert needs shut up and f-off.
