Midway is having serious financial problems right now.

If UT3 PS3 does not sell well enough, then Midway will be up for sale.

The demo was fun as hell... It's overpriced given the length of the campaign, but the game is a mindless shooter with some cool effects and is a helluva lot of fun to play. Don't knock it until you try it... It's max payne on steroids.

i downloaded the PSN demo off the us store and its completely sh1t, i was quite looking forward to this until i played it, come the end of a 10 minute demo i was totally bored of it, dreed to think how id feel after 10 hours....

poor graphics...
poor gameplay...
and some of the worst animation going... (like 2 animations for slow-mo, dive or ass slide)

edit @ the dumb sh1t below.... mate just because of its delay isnt the reason for me disliking the game, its nothing to do with fanboy-ism crap, its purely to do with it being PANTS, if this game came out six months before the xbox version id still say it was pants. your obviously the fanboy here so just keep your mouth shut.

Belive me. Its like a shallow copy of Max payne. Its nice with destructible enviroments but it just feel a little too crazy and some of the "missions" you have to do is pure crap. In "stilt city" you have to shoot "drug labs" (tables) in 3 places and 10-15 tables each time.

The standoff thing is fun though.

Played the demo....I could care less if this title ever launched at all. I know us PS3 fans can use more games, but this one does not help at all. As soon as I cound out that all things in the game had Crisco all over them and you could slide just by bumping into things...oh and the same thug over and over, I deleted.

how did I know every PS3 owner would come here and say they do not care because the game sucks, you guys are getting more predictable everyday. It does not matter if the game sucks or not, what matters is this is yet another game that is being delayed on the "delaystation" its getting quite a reputation.

That the game sucked. I downloaded the demo as well and really was not pleased by it. The point is that these games keep getting delayed and it's just really starting to annoy me. that's all..

Last Week I got an email from wal mart saying that my preorder shipping date was changed to oct 29. Sucks that I got to wait a whole month to get the game. I played the demo and I LOVED IT. I be a sad panda.

It's still a game that I'll buy, more time in development can only be seen as a good thing. More time too polish up the game.

I only own a PS3, but after HOME and all these games and everything else getting delayed and developers holding off on making games for PS3 just to see how it fares, well im starting to considering offing mine on ebay while I can still get enough for a 360 elite ;(. I reallly do believe in what it can do, but since im not writing any good games for it, and apparently no one else wants to either, I may have toswitch camps /sad

Heck, I don't think they are hurting for any game, they didn't even buy Heavenly Sword. However, it's the volume of delays that hurts. Nearly all multi-platform Releases sees a Playstation 3 delay. It doesn't far well for the Playstation 3's reputation.

its delayed because the developers cant lock the framerate at 60 like the 360 version..i would expect to see a game that doesnt look quite as good on the ps3 as well....the cell is a name of bad pipelining that developers begged sony not to go with..its much like the ps2 in that respect...developers never like developing for the ps2,but the money was there...the 360 and wii are so easy to develop for,and have a huge installed base,so the ps3 well be losing a lot of backing by third party companies,this is why microsoft well be getting metal gear..seriously stranglehold was a cool aa game,much like the quality of other ps3 games...theres nothing special about the gamr,but then again its would probably be the ps3s third best game out right now...

If it's so good, then all you XBOX 360 fanboys buy and shut up. I'm sick of fanboys saying that now all PS3 fans think the game is crap because it got delayed. It was crap before it got delayed. You guys have the game. You know it sucks. And if it doesn't then buy it and enjoy.
