As far as we're concerned, Jam Sessions is about as far from a traditional "game" as you can get, and as such the title will hit a very specific - but appreciative - crowd. In an industry swamped by Guitar Hero, Rock Band, and Elite Beat Agents, some will think to shrug Ubisoft's innovative pocket guitar as a gimmick; something that piggybacks on industry trends, rather than a true innovation on its own. That statement couldn't be farther from the truth, however, as Jam Sessions - despite some obvious flaws - is one of the most innovative projects we've seen on DS thus far.
JonTron: Videogame commercials can really make or break your will to play a game, let Jon and his robotic parrot Jacques take a countdown of some of the most memorable eh?!

NoBSGamers writes: "One of the biggest arguments against games is that you are just following a set path, you don't create anything. While one could make the same argument against watching TV, or even point out that at least games help you with your path planning and logic skills. That does not mean that you can't directly refute the claims that games don't let you flex your creative muscles. Here are some games that let you create your own music."
good list, for the people with CFW on their PSP I highly recommend PSP Rhythm.

Hmm, Electroplankton is also a good DS game for just messing around but it's rare and expensive, luckily enough it's being rereleased on the DSiware!
Jam Sessions looks interesting enough. What's funny is that I was thinking of getting Guitar Pro for the PC. I might as well go for Jam Sessions. Looks like all the important chords are there.
If you have an inner musician inside of you then you would actually pick up a real instrument. You cant be a musician from playing games..
Okay… so he also uses a Midi keyboard, and a theremin (which is by far the coolest modern instrument)… but the whole thing is being controlled by a DS playing Jam Sessions that's hooked into a computer running Ableton Live . Pretty impressive if you ask me.
daaaaaaaaamn, that's pretty impressive.
Never really liked daft punk.. but still really cool.
