GamePro: Karoshi Review

"Forget everything you know about video games. In this game... the goal is to die."

That's the first thing you'll see when booting up Karoshi, a side-scrolling platformer that is in no way kid-friendly. Each level has you solving a short puzzle and doing some minor platforming that ends in the horrific death/mutilation of Mr. Karoshi, an overworked Japanese business man.

TheAppera - Karoshi Review

TheAppera - You have to help an overworked, sad, suicidal salary man kill himself. It’s like any other puzzle platformer, other than the goal being to die! So losing is winning, it’s quite odd really. Spikes, burning, electrocution, and getting crushed are all good ways to die in the game.
