SHIFT Extended by Fishing Cactus is a unique platform game that places you inside a black and white world. As a test subject, it is your job to survive the various rooms that are armed with hazards, moving platforms and puzzles. It sounds simple enough, but there is more to the game than jumping and running.
Shift Extended is simple, cheap, and almost immediately addicting. But can it stand up to the test of time?
While SHIFT extended’s stark monochrome visuals certainly won’t tax your PS3 and the game screen’s curved edges reveal it’s iPhone origins, there’s a very compelling game here.
