I agreed with your comment, jashmister. However, to be fair, "he/she" admittedly made it clear that 'this list is by no means complete'. So, "scary"? No. Helpful? Yes. It can be really hard to find great indie games, both new and old.
Aside from the fact of not being able to read properly, nor string together a sentence with punctuation, the other readers can appreciate your suggestions of 'World of Goo' and 'Minecraft' as being great additions to the list. Cheers.
