
When I was growing up I fell in love with the point and click adventure genre, which was booming in the 90′s. I spent hours with games like The Secret of Monkey Island, Space Quest, and Maniac Mansion. These games were challenging and often hilarious. In game solutions were often the punchlines themselves. These days however, the genre is on life support. There is hope however: the rise of touch gaming via tablets and smart phones presents a perfect medium for the return of this once vibrant genre.

I missed all the great Lucasarts adventure games, shame nowadays Lucasarts is just a name that farms out everything to other developers.
