i want to see a NBA game using the Backbreaker Engine, just imagine how good that game would be, oh btw, both 2k and Live Suck, i was hoping sony would make NBA life more like MLB the show, with more realistic gameplay than the previous iteration

However, the sweeping changes to the game last year was due to the "stealing" of 2K's key lead. But, he left to go back to 2K after only one year. (don't know what that says about the climate at EA!?!?) Anyway, they improved on the engine last year (but didn't totally rebuild it...which is typical EA fashion). They really need more flexibility in their engine. More animations with better transitions would be greatly appreciated. Stop with the gimmicks and give some REAL AI...instead of design implements that make the AI seem smarter. 2K is still the game to get, but it needs a real improvement as well. I would stop shy of saying that it sucked. However, there were the issues with online (hate the lag too!) Animations can get a bit sticky at times. However, the overall game (once a few settings are tweaked) is the best game of basketball available for now!
