if Sony really wants to do this right here's how.
get Sony's most respected in house developers(ie nd,gg, sm studios,insomniac) plus some of the top 3rd party (bungie,epic,id,kojimapro,capc om) put them in a room and let them give Sony the direction of what they need vs what Sony can deliver at a price that the public can afford. and come up with a device and specs that all can work with.
in the past Sony has been accused of having hardware guys dumping systems into the laps of the software people saying here it is. see what u guys can come up with.

Yeah, it really is. In fact, it has so much power that it will have the lead in portable graphics for perhaps the next 5 years.

Fixed hardware with a surplus of graphical performance at the time of launch gives a huge advantage for many years. To illustrate this point consider the PSP's graphics which really weren't matched on other mobile devices until just recently.

The PSP came out way back in 2005 and some might argue that no iOS game looks as good as the best PSP games. Rage on iOS looks fantastic, but it also isn't very dynamic in terms of interaction with the environment or control of the camera.

NGP is a truly exciting device and I am very pleased at the direction Sony went with it.

If that thing can run something like Uncharted I am sure it can run some form of "mobile crysis". That would probably look like the PS3 version of Crysis - which still can't match UC2 or KZ2/3.

No to mention, GPU quad with 800+... and 512 for Ram...it gotta be really la bombardare mi gente.

I loled at that too. Why not say what it is. It is the most powerful mobile device ever built - at least which we saw working today. Maybe until it launches NVidia can showcase a TegraIII-Quad. That would be equal, I guess. But that is not even scheduled before end of 2011 (prototypes).

they should know that we are OG fans of VIII as it sold truckload as well. not as much as VII or X. I personally didn't like IX but X and VI are my personal fav.

Shadow Hearts 2 covenant is another game I love. I hope one day someone can make remake, I would be delighted
