It's been a decade since the release of Marvel vs. Capcom 2, but the wait almost over. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is just days away from its release date and with that the anticipation is only growing. Capcom's fighting title will feature three-on-three battles with a roster that consists of old and new characters from Marvel and Capcom's respective libraries. From videos we've seen, controls have been streamlined, but the action is still just as amazing as before.

Artist Chris Cayco, who we’ve featured a few times before on Kotaku, grew up playing Marvel vs. Capcom (and Marvel vs. Street Fighter) games. His tribute to this, which took him over 175 hours, was to combine every single character to ever appear in Capcom’s crossover series in the one enormous image.
Makes me despise Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite that much more
So much wasted potential

As common as it is today, it is hard to believe that there was a time where gaming franchises crossing over was just a pipe dream. Capcom broke down the wall, but they took the combination of some of the most unlikely of franchises and made it the norm.
Whether it was a colossal successful partnership with Marvel Comics or a collaboration with rivals Namco and SNK, the “Vs.” series brought unforgettable experiences to the fighting genre.

Marvel doesn't just have a bright future ahead of it in films, but in the gaming realm as well. Some exciting new titles are showing up on all hardware, so does that mean gamers are finally catching up with the MCU?
Haha now they're even trying to sell dev teams as dlc XDD poor capcom go back to you're good old days.
Edit:When was the last time capcom didn't charge for dlc???
Spectate mode is going to be DLC as well.
Why not just throw online tournaments with the people instead?
Sounds about right.
Considering it's actually 5hours 43minutes, as it includes cutscenes, and this was probably a little rushed. I think you can expect it to run the typical player, between 6-7 hours, with cutscenes.
Which seems reasonable. To me, personally. I've beat KZ2 in 5 something first time through... albeit that was without cutscenes, but the game doesn't come with more than 30minutes of cutscenes, so it was still under 6hours. I can't imagine any KZ2 player being disappointed by the length of it's sequel, or any vet of other modern FPS.
