Mark Little, Senior Producer, of 2K Games shares new details on the new Dynamic Player Rating system that they have implemented in Major League Baseball 2K11, which could make this the most realistic baseball simulator of all-time.

Like last year’s MLB 2k10, 2K11 has a date specific achievement involving this game. The achievement is called, “Mid-Summer Classic” and the description simply says, “Play the All-Star game in MLB Today.” Even though the All-Star game is not until tomorrow, 2K Sports is giving us three whole days to get this achievement out of the way. That’s right, you all have from the rest of today (July 11) until July 13th to knock this achievement out of the park.

Calvin Kemph states, "While there's nothing worse about this year's game than MLB 2K10, many of the improvements are trivial, so incremental that they add little meaningful value."
I play MLB2K every day because it's the only baseball game on the PC.
I play it with two monitors. The second monitor is showing the MLB TV streaming feed.

"2K Sports announced today that the next million dollar winner has been confirmed for the Major League Baseball® 2K11 Perfect Game Challenge. The winner, who will be revealed on Thursday, May 26, will take home $1 million and a lifetime’s worth of bragging rights for being the first person to pitch a verified perfect game in Major League Baseball 2K11." -- Wiiloveit.com (Official Press Release)
you know I bought 2K10 despite of the 1 Million dollar challenge... I don't have a video camera and I probably don't have the patience to get it done on one take uniterrupted like they make you do...
and for some reason Maryland is one of the 5 states that is void from participating in this contest... not saying it made a difference but it could of because I know many people in those 5 states purchased that game... and if I recall there was an advertisement for the challenge in my local Maryland gamestop store, yet the challenge is void and no winner can live in the state of Maryland. (that seems a little wrong in my opinion on an advertisment level)
the other states are Arizona, Conneticut, North Dakota and Vermont.
"OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 UNITED STATES (D.C.), WHO ARE 13 OR OLDER (EXCLUDING RESIDENTS OF AZ, CT, MD, ND, VT). VOID IN AZ, CT, MD, ND, VT AND WHERE PROHIBITED"
the above statement makes absolutely no sense... Please someone explain why 5 states are excluded?? I mean Baltimore, Maryland... They have a baseball team.... The principle of the point....
