Mr. Nash of the Armchair Empire writes: "Sometimes negativity and cynicism just happen, and it's not like they materialize out of thin air. There's usually a cause for these things, which is why we can't pretend like the game industry doesn't have a hand in it too."

Microsoft announced its financial results for Q3 of fiscal year 2026, including an update on its gaming Xbox business and more.
Not looking good. Hopefully Asha Sharma is able to turn Phil’s disaster around.
To me it's still quite remarkable how they can cash-in 5.3bn in revenue in a single quarter, since their hardware is basically dead.

Thanks to the slip-up of an artist working on the title, we now have more evidence that a new Injustice game is in the works.

Spiders: "We're going to cut straight to the chase so you're not left wondering: After a long period without clear answers, we have received confirmation that Spiders is being liquidated.
What does it mean? This means the company as a whole no longer exists. We'll cease our functions immediately. The planned DLC will release via Nacon, and then-- well, that's it.
We're sorry that it's come to this and would like to thank each and every one of you for your support over the years.
If you have any questions or run into issues with your games, please contact Nacon directly as we'll no longer be able to reply."
Yeah there's a serious air of negativity with gaming these days. I personally play everything under the sun, and it's hard for me to play a well-developed game and not enjoy it. Meanwhile you have gamers calling titles like Killzone and Alan Wake "boring", or bitching that a masterpiece like God of War 3 is only 12 hours long.
The only justification for recent negativity is when the biggest 360-exclusive announcement is a Micheal Phelp's swimming game. Yay. That kind of casual crap is taking away resources from where it should stay: the core market.
So I guess the moral of the story is, buy a PS3--there's no cynicism towards it's core-focused lineup in 2011.
The majority of gamers aren't, just a very small minority. That minority though is often times simply the loudest.
yes, everyones a critic these days
I'm your huckleberry.....
They are not..The topic should be "Are reviewers too bias on sony exclusive games"..And the answer is yes.
