Dev kits really should be cheaper, so it'll open it up to more games. Then again, I suppose that's PS Suite

You would think derv kits would be cheaper since that is what brings developers onto the platform.

That initial investment helps make sure that people who'll bother doing it, will try to do it right. Plus, there's a lot of other fees and limitations for devs that's not on PSN, but apparently seen elsewhere...
